Greg Fawcett, D.D.S.
Professional Experience & Education:
Dr. Greg Fawcett was born and raised in Renton, Washington on the Lake Washington property that his great-grandfather homesteaded in 1870. After graduating from Hazen High School in 1971, he attended the University of Washington where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1975 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the U.W. School of Dentistry in 1981. He met his wife, Dr. Sabra Fawcett, during an undergraduate physics class at the U.W. when they were both taking their pre-dental requirements, and they were married five years later while attending dental school together.

After graduating from dental school in 1981, Greg joined his wife in the Fall City dental practice. He also worked several years at Joe Whiting Memorial Children’s Dental Health Clinic in West Seattle and Echo Glen Children’s Dental Clinic in Snoqualmie, where he gained valuable experience in surgery, endodontics, and working with the special needs of both young children and teens. Currently Greg is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. He also makes Continuing Dental Education a top priority in his office, attending many dental seminars and classes each year to stay abreast of current advances in the dental profession, especially in technology and dental materials.

Sabra Fawcett, D.D.S.
Professional Experience & Education:
Dr. Sabra Fawcett grew up in Minnesota where she graduated from Glenwood High School in 1970. She then attended Seattle University, graduating Magna cum Laude in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the U.W. School of Dentistry in 1980, at which time her professors selected her for the American Society of Dentistry for Children Award, as well as for membership in Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Honors Society. She served four years on the Dental School Admissions Committee as her class representative after receiving an appointment by the Dean, she has taught as a clinical instructor for the Dept. of Restorative Dentistry, and she has served on the Board of Directors for the Washington State Society of Dentistry for Children.

Sabra started the Fall City dental practice after graduating from dental school and was joined a year later by her husband, Greg. She has been passionate about dental care for children, actively promoting this in her community. Each February during National Children’s Dental Health Month she and her staff visit local schools with puppets, skits, and movies for an interactive presentation to 800 children. In addition, they host an annual Preschool Open House to introduce young children to dentistry. Sabra was acknowledged for her many years of efforts by the Seattle-King County Dental Society with a front page photo story. Although Sabra has “retired” from seeing patients, she remains active in the Alpine Dental Study Club attending monthly meetings with a small group of her classmates and devoting full-time hours to managing the dental practice, as well as to family property management.

Nichole Martin, D.M.D.
Professional Experience & Education:
Dr. Nichole Martin grew up in Kirkland and received three scholarships for the University of Washington where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. During college she pursued her passion for dentistry by working as a dental assistant. After college Nichole moved to Boston and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2007.During dental school she gained valuable experience in dental emergencies by working in the University Dental Emergency Clinic.

Nichole relocated back to the Seattle area immediately after her dental graduation, and joined our Fall City practice in December 2007. In addition to her comprehensive clinical skills that include root canals, implants, emergencies, and surgery, she brings her special interest in technology. She is experienced in digital radiography, intraoral digital cameras, and digital records, and is adept with Dentrix, our integrated and innovative dental software system. Dr. Martin sees patients of all ages including children, and our more anxious patients are especially enjoying her gentle touch and calm demeanor. She currently works Saturdays and Tuesday evenings in an effort to accommodate our busy working families.As a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society, Dr. Martin is committed to furthering her education and attends a continuing education course each month. She also belongs to the Seattle Study Club which meets monthly with Specialists and other General Dentists to review patient cases and get different opinions on how to approach the case.

Hobbies & Interest:
Nichole lives in Seattle with her husband, Jeff, and her Silky Terrier, Mya. They spend their spare time sailing their boat on Puget Sound, camping, and traveling. She also enjoys pottery, painting, and working out. 

W. Michael Hairfield, D.D.S., M.S., M.S.D.
Professional Experience & Education:
Dr. Mike Hairfield brings a multitude of degrees, educational experiences, and specialized training in both General Dentistry and Orthodontics to our practice. He graduated from the U.W. with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 1976 and from the School of Dentistry in 1980, as a dental classmate of Sabra. As a senior Mike was awarded the Inspirational Award by his dental classmates and the Outstanding Graduate Award by the Washington State Dental Association. After dental school Mike completed a General Practice Residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital where he earned his Certificate in 1982 and a Fellowship as Chief Resident in 1983. He then attended the University of North Carolina, earning his Master’s Degree in Bio-Engineering in 1987. After being accepted to the U.W. Orthodontic Graduate School, Mike returned to Seattle and became an Orthodontist in 1992. Since then he has worked as a Board-Certified Orthodontist in his Renton office and as an Affiliate Associate Professor at the U.W. School of Dentistry.

We are thrilled to have a person with Mike’s caliber, character, and skills on our team! He is gentle, humble, and has a quick wit. He relates extremely well to all ages, and children like him as he calls himself “just a big kid”! When he is not with patients, our staff finds him hiding behind a journal, engrossed in the newest research and dental articles. Mike is in our office two Saturdays each month, as well as covering many days for Greg.

Mike is a member of the ADA, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Washington State Society of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Cleft Palate Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Hobbies & Interest:
Mike lives in Renton close to the huge new development near Lake Washington. He and his fiancée, Wendy, plan to be married in June 2009. He has one son who works in Real Estate. When he is not working or studying, Mike can be found hiking, biking, skiing, or playing guitar.
